The Webster Collection
1967 Porsche 911 S Coupe
Finished in late 2006, this original RHD 911S is one of only about 50 original RHD 66/67 S models to produced. Originally delivered to Malaysia, the car was brought to Australia many years ago. At some point in time, the factory sunroof had been filled in, and air-conditioning fitted. The car sat for many years in Stewart's collection ready and waiting for restoration, and in 2002, the car started the process of being turned into a historic race and rally car.
This S has already competed in the 2006 & 2007 Phillip Island 6 Hour Regularity, as well as the 2006 & 2007 Sandown Historics, 2007 Winton Historics, 2007 Phillip Island Historics, as well as Porsche Club of Victoria events in 2007 and beyond. To view the race videos go to www.youtube.com/aewebster
Fitted with a full roll-cage, cross tower brace, 6 inch Fuchs deep dish wheels, and Dunlop R tyres, the car looks and drives like it would have in the 1960's! Recent suspension upgrades to bigger torsion bars has improved the times and handling, with a LSD and shortened gears in the pipeline.
Best Laps Times:
Phillip Island - 2.00.70
Winton - 1.43.45 (Long Track)
Winton - 1.12.82 (Short Track)
Sandown - 1.32.35
